Trailer Training

We now offer offsite trailer loading training sessions.
These sessions are focused entirely on giving your horse confidence and relaxation when it comes to loading onto any trailer. Jesse works softly and slowly with each horse to allow time for fear and unstable emotions to subside so confidence and trust can come into play. Horses are naturally claustrophobic and stepping into a trailer can be a very real traumatic event to them. By stepping back and allowing them to find safety in the trailer instead of fear, we create positive training memories so trailer loading issues can become an issue of the past.
First session is $60, any session after is $40/hour.

"Loading Trigger had always been the most stressful part of my travelling experiences. When Jesse started working with Trigger I had no hope that trailering would ever be a calm endeavour. After less than 2 hours, Trigger was walking on and off the trailer in a calm and relaxed manner all by himself with the simple point of a hand. Jesse was understanding and incredibly patient with my horse and has now made travelling smooth and easy." - Emily - Trillium Show Jumper

No kicking.
No rearing. No force. No gimmicks. No gadgets. Just lots of patient reassurance, trained responses and time to build real confidence. These training sessions build skills and emotional fitness in your horse so trailer loading is never an issue again! |
Equine Behaviour Training At Nature's Run Equestrian we help you to understand the emotional awareness and stability you need to work with your horse. How simple understandings can help you to connect with your horse both on the ground and in the saddle.
We specialize in helping you overcome confidence issues with an over dominant horse by way of passive training techniques which never rely on force or intimidation. Kindness and understanding, as in all aspects of life, are the keys to creating a long lasting and functioning relationship with your horse; whether you are going out to enjoy their company on the trails or asking for that little bit extra in the show ring. Our head coach and trainer can also help you with your own position both on the ground and in the saddle; by helping you find a comfortable, confident and centered balance with your horse. The first step is always to find a relaxation point; Jesse will help you learn how to find your own relaxation by different routines and exercises with your horse and on your own. So you can start every warm up right, by getting your minds aligned and bodies in position. Then the magic can happen! |
We have a balanced view for horse training; physical conditioning partnered with mental enrichment to encourage an exceptional equine athlete.
Putting it all together...

Physical conditioning models paired with emotional enrichment training allows a horse to become a more balanced partner and accomplished athlete.
